Set in the beautiful countryside of the Centre-Var region of Provence in Southern France, Flayosc is a timely reminder of the best that France can offer - a typical small village with a unique atmosphere and relaxed style. And where better to sample superb French cuisine than at Flayosc's hidden gem, Le Cigalon Restaurant.

The picturesque town of Flayosc is located between the Mediterranean coast and the Verdon Gorges, some three miles west of Draguignan. Formerly known as L'Auberge Provençale, Le Cigalon has a very warm and friendly atmosphere, with a lovely summer terrace which is partly covered and heated out of season.

The owners Jeannine and Roberto Agresta extend a warm welcome. Roberto offers gourmet and regional cooking as well as international dishes for the discerning palate. Jeannine and Roberto spent their early years in France where they learned and perfected their trade in the best restaurants. Deciding to broaden their horizons in England, they were soon enjoying great success in well known London restaurants such as The Waggoners and The Boot.  

Sitting on the terrace of Le Cigalon in the balm of a warm Provençal evening, it is easy to understand why Jeannine and Roberto decided to return to their homeland after 30 years in England.
